Hi, I hear this question a lot!!
If you have studied traditional astrology, you will notice that the Magi orbs are quite a bit tighter that you are accustomed to. Magi Orbs, like all Magi principles, have been proven by our extensive research to be by far the most consistently effective.
In two-planet aspects the maximum allowable orb is 3° period. And by the way, in Magi Astrology, a 3° orb is considered to be big, wide and sloppy. 1.1° and tighter is much more rare and powerful.
In multi-planet geometry with 3 or more planets, ONE planet (and only one planet) may have an orb of up to 4.0° with only one other planet in the geometry. All other planets in the geometry must be within the 3.0° orb.
It’s always easier when working for a client, wishful thinking is an element for all of us: it’s so easy to be subjective and try to see what we want to see when looking at our own charts. We actually have a name for linkage wider than 3°: the Deceiving Linkage.
