Is there a list giving order of captivations relative to strength?
Hi, This is a very good question; not all captivations are the same in their strength or how they are felt.
There is no published list of the 60 or more possible captivations between a couple in order of strength. However, here is some helpful info:
People respond differently to inter-aspects such as captivations depending upon which planet they contribute to the aspect. For the most part, the person contributing the more vulnerable or emotional planet of the pair feels the influence more strongly than the other person.
These points can be captivated, and are ordered from most to least vulnerable:
Chiron
Sappho
Moon
Vesta
Venus
Neptune
Sun
Earth
Jupiter
Juno (fickle Juno can be captivated for a while)
These planets and points can captivate another’s planets, ordered from mildest to strongest:
Juno (yes, spellbinding Juno can captivate OR be captivated, but it can’t captivate itself.)
Saturn
Any Saturn midpoint
Sedna
So, in any captivation pair, you can see where each planet falls on these lists. A very vulnerable planet captivated by a very strong planet would be a more powerful captivation than a less vulnerable planet captivated by a milder planet.
